It’s no secret that Sony will release the slim version of the PS4 sometime in September, with the PS4 Neo being released in October. Slim versions of Sony’s console usually sell cheaper than their big brother, the original PS4, but this is the first time Sony will release a slim version and an updated version of the PS4 within weeks of each other. The PS4 Neo will come out at a retail price of the original PS4 of £349.
I am surprised that Sony went for a mid cycle console refresh and a slim version of the PS4, some lucky sod got the PS4 Slim early even before Sony had released any details or pictures of the slim. The seller of the PS4 Slim posted pictures of the PS4 Slim on Gumtree.
