Ignorance

A person born with a mental condition and therefore has to work a million times harder to be able to do simple things (such to learn and communicate) that we take for granted. On top of this, a person with a mental illness or deformity will usually suffer a lot of ridicule from society because people fear what they do not understand.

The people who choose to make fun of the mental illness tend to be complete clowns and cannot comprehend that these people have feelings and emotions just like anyone else.

I find the word retard and its use highly offensive. Yet the liberal left condone its use, as long as its not the far right thats using it, then it’s ok for others to use it. Like the clown George Ralston, from no other than Red Front Republic, but then their ignorance knows no boundaries.

The word retard stigmatises people with learning difficulties, mental disorders and mental health. It’s a word used to poke fun at people without realising that people have been bullied because of their mental illness, because of ignorance and ignorant people. As they say, bigots everywhere, none more so than Red Front Republic.

The UK as a whole is trying extremely hard to shed the misconceptions of mental health, to bring people together to talk about their mental illness in the hope that suicide can be prevented and intervention can be sought sooner, rather than later. Ignorance stigmatises and stops others from seeking help, don’t be part of the problem, be the solution.
