You’re Atheist why defend Religion

I got asked, if i am an Atheist then why do i defend Muslims? Well the answer to that is, am not defending religion am defending the people, the person, who has the right to practise any religion they so desire. Same if it was Catholics, Christians, Buddhism or any other religion that was under attack i would defend for their right to have and practise that religion without fear of violence intimidation or prejudices.

The far right attribute Muslim with color not because of their religion the far right use religion as a pretext to attack as they don’t only  attack the religion they attack the person/persons what they believe, what they wear. Same goes for immigration, they associate anyone with color as immigrants, they attack their culture also known as cultural racism. Remember, the world only has one race, the human race, me and you, all made from the same building blocks of life.

So while i don’t believe in religion i respect a persons right to practise whatever religion they so wish, thats their right, same as my right not to practise any religion and believe that we are here through evolution not some mythical god.

So when i defend Muslims, i am doing the decent thing, i am defending the person’s right, a basic right to practise any religion they so desire without fear, prejudice and violence being directed towards them. It’s the decent thing to do. it’s about morals, it’s about right and wrong.
